Peter Lederman Representing drivers charged with DWI in courts throughout the State of New Jersey, Peter focuses on providing the highest level of representation and achieving the best possible results, while assisting his clients through the litigation process. His practice is and has been limited to representing defendants charged with Driving While Intoxicated and related offenses for some time.

Peter has been involved with the Alcotest 7110 MK-C III breath test device for the past ten years and represented parties in two landmark cases which determined the scientific reliability of that device and the admissibility of Alcotest breath test results at trial. He is also certified in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Peter regularly provides Continuing Legal Education seminars for attorneys across New Jersey. He has contributed to news stories produced by major media, and has had articles published in various professional journals. He has been involved with policy issues involving DWI and related offenses, has testified before the legislature and contributed toward legislation eventually enacted.

The New Jersey Bar Association awarded Peter an Advocacy Award in 2006 and he received the award for Outstanding Municipal Court Practitioner from the Middlesex County Bar Association in 2006. He was Chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Municipal Court Section from 1999 - 2001.  He has been listed as a "Super Lawyer" in New Jersey Monthly Magazine from 2008 through 2011**. Best Lawyers in America from 2009 through 2001 and rated 10.0 by AVVO, an attorney rating service.

Peter served as the Municipal Prosecutor for the Township of Piscataway from 1984 to 1987.
